Match your products to your competitors' and compare price per unit
VantageDash finds the same product in each competitor's store, reads how many items each listing holds, and compares the price per item whenever the packs differ, so a 24-pack is never judged against an 18-pack on the shelf price alone. Free for 2 competitors and 50 products, then $19 a month for 5 competitors and 200 products or $49 for 15 and 500.
Two worked examples
The listings as a customer sees them, and the numbers VantageDash works out from them.

|---|---|---|
| Listing | Sparkling Water 12 oz Can (Pack of 24) | Sparkling Water 12 oz Can, 18-pack |
| Price | $28.80 | $23.40 |
| Items in the pack | 24 | 18 |
| Price per can | $1.20 | $1.30 |

How it works
Step 1
Add your competitors
Paste a competitor's store address. VantageDash reads their catalogue, whether they sell on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce or a custom-built shop.
Step 2
It matches your products to theirs
AI pairs each of your products with the same product in their store, by name, size and category, so a 4x5 bag is paired with a 4x5 bag. Pairs it is less sure about are shown as suggestions for you to review.
Step 3
It compares per unit when the packs differ
It reads the pack size from each listing, such as 'Pack of 24', 'case of 1000', '100 count' or '(1000/case)'. If you sell several pack sizes, it compares against the one closest to theirs. You see the shelf price and the price per unit side by side.
What “per unit” means here
Per unit means per item in the pack: per can, bag, jar or bottle. That is the fair comparison when both items are the same size, so VantageDash takes size into account when it pairs products. It does not work out a price per ounce or per millilitre.
Some stores print the price of one item next to a case size, such as “$0.15 each (1000/case)”. On the Competitors page you can mark that competitor as “Price is per unit”, so the price is not divided again.
Questions
Does VantageDash compare competitor prices per unit?
Yes. When your product and a competitor's come in different pack sizes, VantageDash reads the pack size from both listings and compares the price per item, so a 24-pack is never judged against an 18-pack on the shelf price alone. You see the shelf price and the price per unit side by side.
How does it match my products to my competitors' products?
It reads each competitor's catalogue and uses AI to pair each of your products with the same product in their store, comparing names, sizes and categories. Pairs it is less sure about are shown as suggestions for you to review.
Where does it find the pack size?
In the listing, including the product's options on Shopify stores: wording such as 'Pack of 24', 'case of 1000', '100 count' or '(1000/case)'. If you sell several pack sizes, it compares against the one closest to the competitor's.
What if a competitor prints the price of one item next to a case size?
Some stores write '$0.15 each (1000/case)'. On the Competitors page you can set that competitor to 'Price is per unit', so a price that is already per item is not divided again.
Does it work out a price per ounce or per millilitre?
No. Per unit means per item: per can, bag, jar or bottle. That is the fair comparison when both items are the same size, and VantageDash takes size into account when it pairs products.
Which e-commerce platforms are supported?
Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Ecwid and custom-built shops, for your own store and for your competitors. If a shop shows its prices publicly, VantageDash can usually track them. A few sites block automated visits; for those you can add the products you care about by hand.
