VantageDash vs SkuPeek
SkuPeek is a competitor price monitoring tool that starts from your own catalogue. It searches for online stores selling the same products, suggests a match for each one, and tracks price and stock for the matches you approve. In that it works much as VantageDash does, and like VantageDash it does not change your prices. SkuPeek finds competitors you have not named, tracks stock as well as price, and covers larger catalogues. VantageDash has a free plan and a $19 plan where SkuPeek starts at $99, and compares prices per unit when pack sizes differ.
Pricing side by side
SkuPeek is priced by tracked SKUs, where each product variant counts as one, with a set number of competitor discovery runs a month. Competitor domains are not counted. Prices are 20% lower billed yearly. VantageDash is priced by how many competitors you track.

Where SkuPeek is stronger
- It finds competitors for you. SkuPeek searches for online stores selling the same products as yours, product by product, so you do not need a list of competitors to start. VantageDash can suggest competitor stores from your catalogue, but you choose each store and add it yourself.
- It does not charge by competitor: plans are priced by tracked SKUs and competitor domains are not counted. VantageDash limits you to 3, 10 or 25 competitors below the Summit plan.
- Daily price and stock monitoring from its first plan. VantageDash checks prices every 48 hours on Basecamp and daily on Vantage, and on the free plan you start each check yourself.
- It tracks whether a competitor has the product in stock, beside the price. VantageDash does not track stock.
- Larger catalogues: 1,000 tracked SKUs at $199 and up to 7,500 at $799. VantageDash tops out at 500 products below the Summit plan.
- Scheduled reports on every plan, weekly on the first, and API access and white-label reports on its top plan. VantageDash sends an alert when a price changes and has none of those.
Where VantageDash is stronger
- There is a free plan you can run indefinitely. SkuPeek's pricing says it has no free plan and no free trial, and offers a sample report prepared by hand.
- Two steps below SkuPeek's first plan. Basecamp is $19 a month for 10 competitors and 200 products, and Vantage is $49 for 25 competitors and 500 products. SkuPeek starts at $99.
- At $49 VantageDash tracks 500 of your products. SkuPeek's $99 plan covers up to 350 tracked SKUs, and it counts each product variant as a tracked SKU.
- Per unit price normalisation is built in, so a 100 pack and a 1,000 pack are compared per unit rather than per listing.
- At $49 VantageDash includes 5 seats. SkuPeek's $99 plan includes 1 user and its $199 plan includes 3.
What neither tool does
VantageDash monitors and alerts. It does not change your prices for you. Neither does SkuPeek. If moving your own prices automatically is the job you are hiring for, neither of these is the tool to buy.
Which one should you pick
Choose SkuPeek if
Shops with a few hundred to a few thousand SKUs that do not know all their competitors, want each product looked for across online stores and tracked daily for price and stock, and have $99 a month or more to spend.
Choose VantageDash if
Shops that already know which competitors matter, sell goods in packs or cases, and want to start free or at $19 a month.
